Returns
We accept returns within 3 days from the date of delivery. To be eligible for a return, your item
must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original
packaging.
Returns are accepted for the following reasons:
1. When we have made an error in your order: If we have committed an error while processing
your order, we will rectify the error upon the return of books/ items.
2. Serious Printing and Binding mistakes in books: We will send a new book upon the return of
the book that carries mistakes.
3. Damaged products: In the unfortunate event that your books/ items arrive damaged or
defective, please contact us immediately. We will arrange for a replacement or issue a refund,
depending on your preference and product availability. Please note that the refund amount will
exclude any shipping charges incurred during the initial purchase.
If you wish to return the books/ items, please quote the reason and fill out the Return Request
Form specified below within 3 days of delivery. Then we will process your request within 7 days.
Return Shipping Costs
You will be liable for meeting the shipping costs for returning & receiving your item/s unless the
return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item/s shipped, errors in books etc). In such cases, we will
return the books/ items without any additional cost to you.
Exchanges/ Refunds
Once we receive your return request and if we accept your request, we will contact you on how
to return the books/ items to our bookstore and also assign you a return authorization number.
Return the books/ items in their original resaleable condition to qualify for a replacement or a full
refund. (Please note that the refund amount will exclude shipping charges incurred during the
initial purchase.) If the books/ items are found to be not in original resalable condition, they will
be returned to you. In such a case, for us to return the unsalable books/ items, you should
deposit the delivery charges for both ways in advance.
All refunds will be issued via a bank deposit only. No cash refunds. If your purchase has been made through your
credit/ debit card, funds will be deposited back into your credit/ debit card. Once your refund has
been credited, we will send you confirmation of the refund via email.
Processing Time
Refunds will be processed within 7 working days from the date of completion of the process. sobadama.lk / sobadama.com should not be held liable for any delays.
